The ramblings of an engineer working for the Army to protect our men and women the world over.

My tattoo pictures...
This one goes out to the parents, I know that they'll be calling later on this evening after they see these. And yes, these are from my own leg, this is NOT, I repeat, NOT a stunt leg. Enjoy, and let me know what you think, and if you don't think it looks good, then don't write anything. Thanks!
The artist was this woman named Kathryn Moore at Dogstar Tattoo in Durham. She does some pretty good stuff as far as I can tell. She is not what I would call your typical tattoo artist, as she doesn't have any of her own, and has a PhD in art from Carnegie Mellon in PA. Funny thing is, she also spent time flying planes for Delta about 10 years ago or so.
Heading north in a few weeks for the holidays of course. Will be taking off around the 23rd of December.
Location: Asheville/Alexandria, North Carolina/Virginia, United States
Recently, made another move in my life. Moved from NC to NOVA to work for the Army. I've kicked around the automotive industry for about 14 years now, and grew to HATE it. And when I say, HATE, that's not a strong enough word really. I now am employed in a job that I love, working with people that I like, and providing a product that I think is important. I've sort of "found" my calling I believe, and have found purpose for my engineering skills. I'm still working some long hours, but now, I enjoy it, instead of dreading it. Isn't that what we all want in life?

It's kind of a small tattoo..

Not sure what the deleted comment said, as the author deleted it, not this kid. I'm one of those kids that doesn't delete comments.
Chill out about the deleted comment yo... I just spelled something wrong, that's all.

Next up: themed sweaters. I miss you Snowflake. Hot chocolate and long walks on the beach just aren't the same anymore.
